It’s official! i’m moving to brooklyn. I am SO excited to actually have SPACE to decorate. No more living in a shoebox! I’m probably going to throw up some pics on this blog, so I can reference them later.

On a sidenote, I totally bought a Vena Cava for Gap dress… It was worth the $88, but i’m kind of confused as to why they put pockets on the dress. The pockets make it poufy in the front. i really dont like side or front pockets on dresses!!! I bought a dress @ a past Rogan sample sale that has a wonderful geometric print and an assymetric cut, but again, there are POCKETS. Still worth the $20 or $40 i paid for it (yes, i know — ive got bargainhunting skills!). But cmon, no wonder it ended up at the sample (and overstock) sale.
Back to decorating. So I think my aesthetic is something like vintage modern, rustic, eclectic. I like when thrift pieces mesh with new pieces. I like old spaces and brick walls. My sister (my new roommate) is much more into the luxury, contemporary aesthetic. She’s much neater, cleaner, and more organized than i am. It’ll be interesting to see how our styles mesh!
